Raft and Camping Package

Overview

This secluded, private campground is located on the river at Russian Rapids and is the only group camping area located in Knights Ferry. Each Individual Site can hold up to 4 people, one large tent or two smaller tents and one car.  Our group site can hold up to 40 people.   It is available by reservation only to groups rafting with River Journey Adventures.    Fill out the quote request form with your desired dates and we will get back to you.  Sorry, no rv parking.

Weekdays single nights available.  Weekends require two night reservation.

Itinerary

Day 1: Check in after 3pm.  Your site will be marked with your name.  We will check you in periodically during the day.  Enjoy our riverside beach area, walk through the old gold mining town of Knights Ferry- even have an ice cream at the old creamery.  If you don't want to BBQ have a meal at the Rivers Edge Restaurant (2 minute walk away) and enjoy some live music most weekends.  Gates close at 10pm as that is the start of quiet hour.

Day 2: Take a short 5 minute walk to the rafting launching area by 10:00.  After receiving your equipment and safety orientation float down to our beach area.  Load up your lunch cooler and float the rest of the trip.  When you finish our bus will take you directly back to the campground.

Day 3: Enjoy our camp in the morning and check out is by noon.

Location

Our address is 17442 Cemetary Road, Knights Ferry, CA 95361.  Pull in the driveway past the private residences and follow the signs to our riverside campground.
